KARACHI – A most wanted target killer affiliated with MQM has been apprehended during an operation by Rangers in Azizabad area of Karachi.
On a tip-off, Rangers personnel conducted a targeted operation on Tuesday morning near More Park located near Nine Zero area of Azizabad and foiled a terror bid in the city and arrested a wanted target killer. Rangers claimed that the detainee identified as Kashif David, a most wanted target killer affiliated with MQM, had fled to a foreign country for quite some time.
On the information of accused, The Rangers conducted targeted operation in specific houses and seized huge cache of weapons, ammunitions and Rangers uniform from the houses. Rangers claimed to have recovered explosives, Kalashnikov, LMGs, RPGs, huge cache of bullets, and Rangers uniforms.
The detainee was shifted to undisclosed location for further investigations. While speaking to journalists on Tuesday in Karachi, Col Faisal from Rangers said that paramilitary force closed all the entry and exits points of the area before launching the targeted operation.
